Multi-Layer Verification Process

CrewSMS implements a comprehensive multi-layer opt-in process to ensure full compliance with TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and industry best practices. No SMS messages are sent until users complete all verification steps.

1Initial Invitation (Admin-Initiated)

No Cold Outreach: CrewSMS never sends initial invitations. Client businesses use their own email systems to provide employees with secure signup links containing unique company tokens.

2Web Form Opt-In (Express Written Consent)

Non-Pre-Checked Consent: Employees must actively check a consent box and provide their phone number. The consent is never pre-checked or bundled with terms of service.

3Email Verification

Code-Based Verification: Users receive a verification code via email and must enter it to proceed.

4SMS Confirmation

Double Confirmation: Users must reply to an SMS message to confirm their participation before routing is activated.
